Our Story

VCA Tiara Rado Animal Hospital’s mission is to strive for excellence in patient care, compassion, client education, and community involvement. Our facility is equipped to provide the highest standard in diagnostics, medicine, non-invasive techniques, and surgical care. We seek to promote an excellent work environment that focuses on family and encompasses continuing education that benefits the patients, practice, and community.

Hometown Care at VCA Tiara Rado Animal Hospital

VCA Tiara Rado Animal Hospital is a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital serving cats, dogs and exotic pets in Grand Junction, Glenwood Springs, Delta, Montrose, Telluride, and Rifle, Colorado, as well as Moab, Utah. In addition to complete preventive health care, we offer in-depth diagnostic services and a wide range of advanced surgical procedures to clients and partner with veterinary hospitals across Colorado and Utah.

We have earned a reputation for care excellence is due in part to our investment in state-of-the-art technology and tools. We keep up-to-date with educational outreach, partnerships with Colorado State University Veterinary School, University of California Davis (as a stem cell therapy test site), and ongoing accreditation through the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).

In the interest of healthy pets, we encourage people to train with their puppy or dog. Training builds a bond between people and their pets that leads to a healthy, safe, well-behaved and beloved companion dog.

Our veterinarians and staff are committed to your family’s pet and strive to provide kind and complete care in an Eco-friendly atmosphere using energy-efficient products and recycling.

Community Involvement
It takes many hands and hearts to provide for animal well-being in our community. VCA TRAH supports Mesa County Animal Services and Roice-Hurst Humane Society.

American Animal Hospital Association

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) sets the standard for quality veterinary care for companion animals. As an accredited hospital, we voluntarily uphold the Association's high standards in 18 different areas and are routinely evaluated on over 900 different standards of veterinary care. Not all animal hospitals are accredited, and we are proud to be amongst only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals that hold this honor.
