Hi, I am Sydney, and I have always been a huge dog lover! I grew up with dogs and was always the one taking care of them and making sure they had what they needed. I currently rodeo, so I am very involved in the horse world as well. I have three cats and a horse, and it is my goal to get a dog in the next year or so.
I absolutely love being a kennel assistant because I get to be around dogs and cats all day! I enjoy meeting all the new pets that come in.
I especially love Australian Shepherds, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Dobermans, Rottweilers, and Pit Bulls—I am very much a big dog person, and I would love to own one of these breeds one day!
My childhood dog of 13 years was a Shih Tzu Yorkie mix, so I definitely have a soft spot in my heart for small dogs as well. I also love coming into work and seeing all the new pets we get in for the day.
