Briana Danielson
Veterinary Specialist DVM, DACVS-SA
Briana Danielson, DVM, DACVS-SA, is a board certified veterinary surgeon and a diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. She received her bachelor of science at University of Maryland in College Park and obtained her doctor of veterinary medicine at The Ohio State University. She completed internship and then surgical residency at a private practice, MedVet, in Ohio in 2013.

Dr. Danielson has multiple publications and has given lectures at the professional level. Dr. Danielson’s previous roles include: the head of surgery at a multi specialty hybrid veterinary practice, director of a general rotating and specialty internship program, key opinion leader for the animal health industry and, a surgeon and consultant at Zoo Miami.

Dr. Danielson loves veterinary surgery and is grateful for a career that allows her to be on a team helping others by helping the ones they love, their pets. She believes it is important that people know that their pet’s care and successful therapy is linked to the amazing team she works with everyday. She believes that owners should have their pet’s disease, treatment options and, surgical plan discussed in a way that is relatable even if they do not have a medical background, making them a part of this team.

Dr. Danielson performs oncologic, soft tissue and, orthopedic surgery. She has multiple areas of interest including: complicated fracture repair, complex soft tissue cases and, applying learned techniques to unique situations.
