Internal Medicine

Dr. Whitney was born and raised in New Hampshire. She completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in French from Providence College in 1991. Dr. Whitney then moved to New York City to complete her Internship and Residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at The Animal Medical Center in 2002. She then received her board certification from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM). She currently works at the VCA Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk. Although she enjoys all aspects of internal medicine, her specific interests are in renal, endocrine and gastrointestinal disease and enjoys ultrasound and endoscopic procedures. Dr. Whitney has been with VCA VREC since 2002.
