Dr. Kate Walsh grew up in Belleville, Illinois. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Missouri – Columbia in 2010. She went on to work in research in both zoological and sleep medicine before working as a veterinary technician for several years. She obtained her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in January 2020. She completed her rotating small animal internship through VCA Shoreline and VCA VREC.
Dr. Walsh has one rescue pet: mixed breed dog, Kya. Her veterinary interests include emergency medicine, neurology and surgery. She loves to play board games, cook, and spend time outdoors.
