Dr. Sun graduated from Boston College in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in biology. She earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2015, after which she completed a rotating internship with VCA in Sacramento. She's practiced in Massachusetts since 2016, and she joined the Wakefield team in early 2025.

Dr. Sun is passionate about feline medicine and soft tissue surgery. She is a Fear Free™ Certified Professional, and she continues her work as a veterinarian at the MSPCA at Nevins Farm, where she's been volunteering since 2020.

She has two mischievous kittens named Mo and Millie. She also enjoys spending time with her family, DIY projects, and Zumba.
