Dr. Kruse was born to be a veterinarian but didn't realize her calling until she had worked at a bank, taught high school students, and started a Ph.D. program. If she had just listened to her mother, she would have started off on the right career path years earlier. Every day she is thankful to have the opportunity to improve the health of her patients and to help their guardians make good, educated choices for their pets.

She graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, and she also holds a Master's degree in teaching. Dr. Kruse is a Certified Fear Free™ Professional.

Dr. Kruse enjoys local hikes with her dog, the beach, singing made up songs to her rabbits, and chocolate covered cherries.
