Hello! I'm Shelby Lohr, and I'm excited to introduce myself as the Hospital Manager at VCA Westcreek. With over five years of experience in the veterinary field, I've been fortunate to work alongside some incredible teams and develop a passion for leadership and animal care. I bring a wealth of experience in animal care, including my time as an animal trainer at SeaWorld, where I honed my skills in working with a variety of species. I've earned my Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology from Penn Foster College, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and hold a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University at Galveston.
Outside of work, I'm an avid explorer of new hobbies and love spending time outdoors. When I'm not managing the hospital, you can find me enjoying quality time with my three dogs, Kya, Bea and Moose, and discovering new ways to stay active and engaged. My passion for animals and leadership has led me to this exciting role, where I look forward to helping our team provide the best possible care for our patients.
