I was born and raised in League City, Texas. My family got our first pet, a black Labrador retriever named Beaux, when I was a junior at Clear Creek High School. We found out a few months later that he likely had a rare inherited muscle disorder that left him with reduced muscle mass, but otherwise, a normal quality of life. It was at that time that I discovered my interest in veterinary medicine.

In 2015, I joined the Texas A&M Aggie cult (Gig 'em!) where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a double major in Entomology in 2019. I was lucky enough to stay in College Station for another four years and earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2023 from Texas A&M University School of Veterinary Medicine.

I officially joined VCA Westside in July 2023. The best part of my job is working closely with animals and animal advocates to provide high quality care. My professional interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology, anesthesiology, and preventative medicine.

During my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my fiancé, Kelsi,  August (our female orange tabby), and Mando (our newest addition - a male lab mix). I also enjoy working on my golf game (which never ends), playing video games, going to Astros games, and reading. I am also an avid Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings fan!
