Greg Smart is originally from Kenosha, Wisconsin, and attended Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC). Greg joined the VCA family in February 2024 as a Client Service Representative but quickly rose to Client Service Supervisor before becoming the manager at VCA Winchester in February 2025.
What Greg appreciates most about his job is the dynamic nature of hospital management. He thrives on the daily challenges and the opportunity to learn the intricacies of the role continually. Greg is passionate about creating a supportive and efficient environment for both staff and clients. A lifelong learner, Greg is always seeking opportunities to grow, with an open mind regarding where that journey may lead him in the future. Although he currently has no pets, his experiences in veterinary care fuel his dedication to animal health and wellness.
Outside of work, Greg finds peace in nature, engaging in activities such as hiking, biking, grilling, camping, and backpacking. He also enjoys bowling, cooking, reading, and volunteering, showcasing his commitment to both personal growth and community involvement.
