Dr. Darren Yang embarked on his journey toward veterinary medicine after an initial foray into Business Economics, earning his Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine. However, it wasn't long before his innate passion for animal care beckoned, leading him to pursue his lifelong dream of  becoming a veterinarian. He subsequently earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the esteemed University of California, Davis.

Dr. Darren's dedication to the well-being of animals is evident in his diverse experiences prior to and during his veterinary education. From roles as a kennel attendant and client service representative to serving as a veterinary assistant, his tenure with VCA provided invaluable insights and solidified his commitment to the field. His unwavering loyalty to the company reflects his profound belief in its mission and values. Currently practicing as a veterinarian, Dr. Darren attends to dogs, cats, and various exotic species. His comprehensive approach to veterinary care ensures that each patient receives personalized attention and top-notch treatment.

Beyond the confines of his clinic, Dr. Darren embraces a vibrant lifestyle filled with adventure and exploration. An avid surfer, hiker, and yoga enthusiast, he finds solace in nature and thrives on physical activity. His wanderlust knows no bounds, as evidenced by his globe-trotting escapades to destinations like Guatemala, Peru, and Tahiti, where he has scaled active volcanoes, trekked to ancient ruins, and swum alongside majestic sea creatures. In his downtime, Dr. Darren cherishes moments spent with friends and family.
