Dr. Kobashigawa received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in General Biology. After graduation she worked in human medical research at UC San Francisco Department of Medicine. Then she received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis.
After graduation from UC Davis, Dr. Kobashigawa obtained additional training as an intern at the California Animal Hospital, in the Department of Surgery and Emergency.
