Dr. Purucker hails from the East Lansing area, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science (2017) and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (2021) from Michigan State University. Dr. Purucker has additional training by the Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy to help your pet transition over the Rainbow Bridge in the most peaceful way possible. She is also Fear Free Certified.

In 2021, Dr. Purucker received the Bovine Clinical Proficiency Award from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine for excellence in surgery and medicine. She has been nationally recognized by the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges for her leadership roles.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Purucker enjoys spending time with her husband and son. They have two Labrador retrievers and one giant orange kitty. She enjoys reading and taking naps with the little spare time she has.
