I graduated form UCD School of Veterinary Medicine in 1979 and have been practicing small animal medicine in the Sacramento area since then. I have been both an associate veterinarian and a practice owner. COVID forced me into an early retirement, and I missed my work so much that as soon as I received my vaccinations I went looking for a part-time position in a very high quality practice. I found my perfect fit her at VCA American River Animal Hospital.  In addition to my work here, I also serve as the volunteer mammal veterinarian for Sierra wildlife Rescue.
