Kendal Hughes is a veterinary assistant at VCA Anderson’s Corner Animal Hospital who brings warmth, patience, and genuine compassion to every interaction with pets and their families. She believes that every animal deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, and she takes pride in helping create a calm, positive experience during each visit.
Kendal is passionate about supporting both patients and clients through thoughtful, attentive care. She works closely with the medical team to ensure pets feel secure while keeping families informed and reassured along the way. Her gentle approach and kind presence help ease stress and build trust, especially during moments when emotions can run high.

What Kendal enjoys most about her role is being part of each pet’s care journey and helping create positive, comforting experiences for families. Whether helping a nervous pet settle in or offering reassurance to a concerned owner, she finds fulfillment in making each visit feel a little easier and more positive.
Outside of the hospital, Kendal enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active, experiences that reflect her calm, grounded nature and love for caring for others.
