Team Spotlight
Valarie Romo, DVM, grew up in Indiana and moved to Oklahoma as a teenager. She attended the University of Oklahoma for her undergraduate education and graduated from Oklahoma State in 1994 with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. We feel very fortunate that she decided to venture to Texas; otherwise, she wouldn't have joined the Angel team in 2006!
Dr. Romo has a special interest in geriatric medicine, pain management, and internal medicine. She also enjoys treating pocket pets.
She shares her home with three senior (and special needs) cats, a dachshund, and her husband.
