Annette is a passionate and dedicated licensed technician with more than 20 years of experience. She leads a team of specialty trained veterinary technicians and assistants who align with her core values of excellence in patient care, client service, and team collaboration.
Since joining VCA Animal Specialty Group in 2011 as a surgical veterinary assistant, Annette has passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam to become a registered veterinary technician, honed her skills in the Surgery department, and excelled into the Surgery department supervisor position and student extern coordinator in 2017. In 2022, she was promoted to specialty technician manager where she upholds the gold standard of care and is committed to mentoring the next generation of veterinary professionals.
Outside of work, Annette values quality time with her family, which includes her three children, two boxers named Arlo and Elmer, and their pug, Thelma.
