Dr. Howard Schutzman received his DVM in 1981 from Cornell University. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Schutzman decided on a career in veterinary medicine while still in grade school. In 1986, he and his business partner, Dr. Arnold Gutlaizer, founded Broadway Veterinary Associates and opened practices in Oakland and Antioch. As a veterinarian, Dr. Schutzman finds the challenge of difficult cases most rewarding and is dedicated to offering all clients the highest level of care and service. Outside of work he enjoys travel, reading, basketball, backgammon, and spending time with his family. Dr. Schutzman and his wife have three adult children, two dogs, and two cats.
