Dr. Ryan Koopmans joined us in April of 2016 from Connecticut. He earned his DVM from Iowa State University in 2012. Dr. Koopmans grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and is therefore a diehard Nebraska Cornhuskers alumnus. In addition to being a veterinarian here at Antioch Veterinary Hospital, he is also a veterinarian with the Army Reserve. He has two daughters and a wonderful wife who is also a veterinarian. Outside of work, Dr. Koopmans enjoys soccer, spending time with his family, traveling, and having plenty of free time. Go Big Red!
