Angela Bucher joined the VCA family in 2013 in Nebraska after working in the field for over 6 years working in both general practice and emergency medicine were she served as the Director of Pet Nursing and as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Angela served as the Special Assistant to the Medical Director and Licensed Veterinary Technician in Nebraska before moving to Santa Fe to become the Hospital Manager. In this role she ensures quality care for every pet in our hospital as well performs a wide range of difficult to complex administrative activities related to providing quality patient care and excellent client service, marketing and promotion of services, staffing and personnel operations and discretionary activities that serve to support effective business operations. She has always known that her place was working with animals as they mean so much to her. Angela received her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology (AAS) from Vatterott College in Omaha, NE. Angela is the proud mother of “Buffy" terrier, “Willow" rat terrier/Chihuahua, “Xander" Maltese/poodle, and “Crowley” Lab mix. When Angela is not working she enjoys computer games and Science Fiction Television.
