Tasha has been with VCA Bakersfield Animal Hospital since July 2011. Since then, she's had the pleasure of working in most departments including reception, boarding, and treatment. Tasha became a registered veterinary technician after passing her state and national tests and enjoys the opportunity and learning experiences that come with working with animals in a medical setting while assisting in their care and recovery.
"I have always enjoyed the company of animals growing up—from cats and dogs to snakes and mice," Tasha says. "I love my job and the staff that I work with. All of us try to do the best we can to care for our animal friends."
Tasha is the proud owner of Suki, a pug mix; Coco, a Chihuahua; and a long-haired feline friend, Fuzz. Besides walking at the park with her dogs, she also enjoys biking, swimming, hiking, traveling, baking and simply relaxing while watching TV.
