Growing up in the Pittsburgh area, Mary Beth always loved animals and decided to turn that passion into a career by becoming a vet tech. She became a CVT shortly after graduating from VTI - Pittsburgh in 2009 and then furthered her education by graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Slippery Rock University in 2014. She has a special interest in internal medicine and radiology, taking great pride in ensuring every single patient seen  is treated as she would want her own beloved pets treated. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her two young sons and their rescued fur babies—a Boxer mix named Penny and a cat named Lulu, who as an orphaned kitten, she bottle-raised from birth. She also enjoys learning about local history, genealogy, and promoting native plant landscaping to benefit pollinators.
