Dr. Nicole Palumbo grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago and started working at her local veterinary clinic at the age of 15. She continued working at that same veterinary clinic throughout her undergraduate studies at Saint Xavier University until 2008. She attended the University of Illinois Veterinary College, focusing on small animal medicine and exotic medicine. Dr. Palumbo graduated in 2012 and moved to northwest Pennsylvania where she has worked in GP/on-call and ER practices. Within the last few years, Dr. Palumbo has decided to focus solely on GP work and is excited to expand her managing skills. Her special interests include feline medicine, dermatology, dentistry, and raptor medicine. She is currently immersed in studying for Feline Board Certification and has completed certification courses in feline friendly, fear free handling, veterinary business leadership and has acquired ISVPS GP certification in dermatology.
