Sami Meeks is from San Martin, CA, and has been with VCA since 2010. In the past, she has completed her Emergency Medical Services (EMS) training and become nationally certified. She has also developed a special interest in pet nutrition, having received training in nutrition over the past 25 years in the veterinary field.
Sami's favorite part of working in this field is connecting with staff, clients, and their pets. She also loves the advancing science behind veterinary medicine and exploring new ways to improve both the client and associate experience.
Sami has several rescue dogs as well as a small flock of fancy chickens. In her free time, you will find her spending time with her son and volunteering with her husband to assist homeless pets and rescue animals in need.
