Dr. Hillegas grew up in Scotia, NY. She came to WNY in 2003, following veterinary school at Cornell University. She has been at VCA Blue Cross Animal Hospital for the entirety of her career. Her interests include internal medicine and soft-tissue surgery. She currently lives in East Aurora, with her husband, Charlie, two children, Tilly and Jonathan, her dog Boone and cat Buster.
