Dr. Patterson grew up in Western New York. She graduated from Canisius College with degrees in Biology and in Animal Behavior, Ecology, and Conservation. During her time there, she researched beluga whales in Niagara Falls, Ontario. She fell in love with Ontario and graduated from The University of Guelph, Ontario Veterinary Collage in 2016. Outside of work, Dr. Patterson enjoys spending time with her daughter and horse and staying physically active through taekwondo training.
