Liz was born and raised in Washington State and moved to California 13 years ago, where she has since made a new home. A proud dog owner, she has two beloved 11-year-old dogs: Gus, a Corgi-Chihuahua, and Indiana, a Cocker Spaniel. If Liz could have a superpower, she would choose the ability to talk to animals and teleport. The happiest and most important moment of her life was giving birth to her son, Ethan, who is now 27 years old and married.

Outside of work, Liz loves taking her kayaks out on San Diego Bay to enjoy the beauty of the water. Her personal motto, "C'est La Vie," which is also tattooed on her foot, reflects her laid-back approach to life, reminding her to cruise through life with a sense of acceptance and ease.
