Lisa grew up in the high desert where family and pets were a huge part of her life. Lisa moved to Santa Barbara in 2014 and has been part of the team at VCA Care from the beginning. Since then, she has moved from tech assistant to one of the lead vet assistants in the emergency and critical care department. She is currently a lead vet assistant for our Internal Medicine Specialty department. Her greatest acquisition from work is our former hospital cat "Moe," a.k.a. Moesha. She was a feline blood donor for six years until Lisa adopted her and gave her a house cat's life of luxury and leisure.
