Laine started volunteering at VCA Castle Hills at the age of 16, with the dream of becoming a veterinarian. Now in her third year of vet school at Texas A&M, she spends her breaks back in San Antonio, working as a technician with the clinic. She trained a service dog named Karsen, that is now in Arizona finishing secondary training for diabetic alert. Laine now has the younger sister of Karsen, whom she named Paisley. She is a rambunctious Lab puppy who loves her mom very much, and mom loves her even more!
