Dr. Johnson attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington and the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado for is undergraduate degrees before attending Colorado State University in Fort Collins for his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 1983 he, his wife Wanda, and their 3-month old son moved to Upland, California to begin a career in private practice.
Dr. Johnson continues to live in Upland with is wife of 31 years and 3 grown children - two sons and one daughter. He has enjoyed coaching soccer and baseball teams with his children, and was very involved with Boy Scouts. Both his sons attained the rank of Eagle Scout.
