Dr. Blessinger joined the staff of VCA Champions Northwest in Spring of 2008, and is most recognizable by her long red hair. She earned her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Purdue University in 2005, and later moved to the Houston area with her husband.

Dr. Blessinger has an uncanny relationship with her patients, and says her reward is the look of thanks she receives from them. Her spare time is pretty busy with four young children and two spoiled dogs, an Australian Shepherd and a beagle. She also enjoys reading, dance and watching her four children, two girls and two boys, grow.
