Dr. Wood grew up in rural Indiana on a farm, where she developed a love for animals and a passion for helping them. After obtaining her B.S. in Biology, she attended Purdue University’s Veterinary School. During her time in veterinary school she studied abroad in South Africa and India.

Following graduation, she worked at a rural practice in Indiana. Then she spent two years working in the west coast of Ireland before returning back home to Indiana.
