At the early age of eight, Krista started showing Bullmastiffs. From there, her love of animals grew. After high school, she started following her dream of working in veterinary medicine by attending the Vet Tech Institute of Fox College. She graduated in April of 2012, passed the VTNE that summer, and has continued to grow as a CVT in this field ever since. Krista became part of the VCA family along with County West Animal Hospital in 2015. She was promoted to Lead Technician in 2015, Technician Supervisor in 2017, and most recently to Hospital Manager in November 2020. Krista loves educating others about the field of veterinary medicine and how to care for their own pets. 

She married her husband, Kevin, in 2018 and they now have 2 adorable little boys, Koleson and Kilian. Completing their family is Sully (Pomeranian/Maltese), Ember (Bullmastiff), Boulder (Pitbull), Kitty Kitty (DSH), and Scarlet (Corn snake). If she ever gets spare time, Krista enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, reading, and anything Disney.
