Team Spotlight
Peg Villanueva (Dr. V as we call her) grew up in the city of Chicago, where, at the age of four, she told her grandmother that she would be a veterinarian one day. Her grandparents were in attendance at her graduation from the University of Illinois-College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989.
Dr. V worked in a mixed animal practice in Michigan for two years after graduation. She switched to small animal practice after the birth of her first child in 2001. She worked for many years in a regulatory capacity in the harness racing industry for the State of Michigan, and worked full time for the humane society, all whi...
Andrea graduated from the International Business College with an associate's degree in veterinary technology in December 2015. She began her externship with VCA that same year, and post-graduation, she joined our team. Andrea is our Technical Supervisor at VCA Eagle Park with her special interests and skill in surgical assisting and anesthesia. She has five cats and one dog.
