Dr. Tamar Hallajian and her family immigrated to America when she was 2 years old and settled in Glendale, CA. She is a first generation college graduate and obtained her B.S. in Animal Science at UC Davis. She then continued her education and graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Hallajian joined the team at VCA Foothill Veterinary Hospital in 2021. Her special interests are feline medicine, dermatology (especially allergies), behavioral medicine, endocrinology, and preventive care. She loves getting to know her clients and patients to better serve her community, and creating long lasting professional relationships. 

In her free time, Dr. Hallajian enjoys rock climbing, swimming, reading, exploring new coffee shops, and everything to do with Disney. She currently has an orange tabby named Charlie, a Dachshund/Chihuahua named Raffi, and an Armenian Gampr named Bella. Dr. Hallajian fosters kittens that have no place to go with the help of Charlie, who makes a wonderful surrogate cat parent.
