Dr. Bruce Quisenberry, Dr. Q, is a 1982 graduate of the Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps. He served for eight years as an active-duty veterinary officer. He transitioned to the civilian sector in 1991 and has practiced small animal medicine and surgery since then. In 2005, he was able to return to the uniformed services as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS).
Dr. Q joined VCA in 2017 and is a client favorite due to his warm personality and southern charm. He lives in Clifton with his wife and their houseful of animals, including his beloved dogs, Dolly and Winter.
