Dr. Wyss was born and raised in Long Island, New York. She and her family moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 1992. She attended college at North Carolina State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. From there she joined the United States Air Force as a Communications Officer from 1998 to 2002. She went on from there to pursue her love for animals by attending the Veterinary College at Massey University in New Zealand. She graduated in 2006 and moved back to Charlotte. Dr. Wyss spends her free time with her husband, hiking, mountain biking, and loving on her dog and cats.
