Dr. Shaw graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She was visiting instructor in the Anatomy Department at NCSU-CVM from 1996-1998. She moved to the Charlotte area in 2001 and practiced at Sharon Lakes Animal Hospital. She then spent three years at Carolina Veterinary Specialists on the Emergency and Critical Care service. Dr. Shaw was certified in Canine Rehabilitation in 2004 at the University of Tennessee and opened Carolina Canine Rehab Clinic in November 2004. Dr. Shaw’s spends her free time with her husband David, her two children, and their five dogs. Special interests include pain management, rehabilitation, geriatrics, and soft tissue surgery.
