Dr. Pitts is a Native Texan that grew up here in the Gulf Coast of Texas in a small town just right down the road from Lake Jackson. She completed her degree in Animal Science at Texas A&M University in 2014. Shortly after that she made the move to the beautiful island of St. Kitts to complete here degree in Veterinary Medicine at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Missing the great state of Texas, it was easy of Dr. Pitts to accept the job here at the VCA Lake Jackson location so she could finally return home. Dr. Pitts hopes to that her bright, new, vibrant personality will be a great addition to Lake Jackson community. Dr. Pitts has particular interests in the human-animal bond/one-health movement, surgery, nutrition and dermatology. She also has a passion of livestock.

Dr. Pitts spends all of her free time with her sweet fur babies, which include her rescue dog Olive and her rescue cat Todd. Dr. Pitts also has a passion for travel and scuba diving as well as cheering on her beloved Aggies.
