Dr. Rachel Gadbois was born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas. She went to the University of Houston for the first two years of her undergraduate studies double majoring in biochemistry and biophysics. She then transferred to Texas A&M University and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2020. Dr. Gadbois went to veterinary school at Texas A&M and graduated magna cum laude in May 2024. She started working as an associate veterinarian for VCA Lake Jackson in July 2024. Hi! My name is Ashley! I've been working for VCA since January 2010 I love my job and all the friends I've made. I have 2 beautiful daughters Elise Wymberly and Capri Addyson. I've been married to my loving husband Shawn for 5 years. I also have 4 furry babies that drive me crazy but I love them. Banjo and Chuy are brothers and are half Shih-Tzu and half poodle, my grumpy cat Molly who I adopted from the Brazoria County SPCA, and Gummy Bear my 9 year old Pomeranian. I love my job here at VCA and plan on being here for many more years to come :)
