Dr. Bouffard graduated from the University Of Minnesota College Of Veterinary Medicine and was a member of the Gamma Sigma Delta Honor Society and the Society of Phi Zeta. Before attending Veterinary College, she attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in zoology and a minor in psychology. While there, she was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, Phi Beta Kappa, and Phi Kappa Phi.
Dr. Bouffard grew up on the North Shore and always planned on spending her professional life in Massachusetts. She is a mother of three exceptional children and a wife of the world's best chef, surveyor, and father, Leonard. Dr. Bouffard would like to be known as equally a cat and dog person. She's an avid Sheltie fan and lover of Tuxedo cats. She's sharing the spotlight with Jazzy, who was a homeless young mother who needed midwife help when she gave birth at nine months of age. Barry, her 17-pound baby boy tuxedo, was too shy for the camera. Dr. Bouffard loves whale watching, gaming, swimming, wine tasting, and enjoying the company of family and friends.
Dr. Bouffard drives to always do her best for the pet and owner. Enhancing and extending the lives of her patients is her goal. Dr. Bouffard enjoys educating and working with pet owners as a team. She is as enthusiastic about veterinary medicine, surgery, and behavior as when she graduated from the University Of Minnesota College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She aims to provide the highest standards of care while recognizing the need to be flexible and work within the boundaries of what the pet and pet owner can do. Dr. Bouffard's passion is celebrating and protecting the bond people share with their pets.
