I grew up in Milford, CT and went to undergraduate school at Michigan State University (we hate the Wolverines with an equal passion) where I studied Clinical Laboratory Science . After graduation I worked at the Children’s Hospital in Columbus for 2 years prior to getting into veterinary school at Ohio State, subsequently graduating in 2006. I completed a one-year internship where I was subjected to intense emergency and critical care training as well as general surgery, internal medicine, neurology, and general practice. I practiced for 10 years serving as the Co-Medical Director at a 24 hour hybrid emergency, general practice, and specialty hospital in Cheshire, CT, and will miss all the great patients and clients I had the privilege of knowing. Most recently, I have spent the past year as an associate veterinarian at our sister hospital, VCA Midpark. My wife, Michele, a native of Norwalk, OH, and I have two beautiful children, and we are allowed to live with our cat Bill and our dog, Tater. We recently lost Bill's brother Mac to heart disease and miss him terribly. In my time away from work I enjoy a number of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, camping, and spending time with my family. Chief among the outdoor pursuits is competitive benchrest shooting and I am a hobby level machinist.
