Shanna grew up in South Omaha. She started working at Community Animal Hospital in January 2003 as an Veterinary Assistant. During that time she attended Vatterott and received her Associates Degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in January 2005. She continued working at Community Animal Hospital until June 2010.
Shanna started working at the VCA MidWest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center in May of 2010. She found her true calling at that time in Emergency Medicine. She really enjoy working in Emergency Medicine. She loves being able to help people and their pets in their time of need. Nothing is more fulfilling and rewarding to Shanna than watching a patient that was critical, walk out happy and healthy after receiving treatment.
Shanna is the mother of three, one son and two black cats. She stays very busy with her son's tackle football in the fall and swimming in the summer. Family time is very important to her, when her family is not playing sports, they enjoy seeing live music as a family.
