Dr. Valenti is a native New Yorker who completed his undergraduate education at Cornell University, where he graduated with Distinction in Research for his work in canine genetics. Following his undergraduate education, he spent time working at Cornell Raptor Program caring for several species of birds of prey. After moving back down to New York City, he worked as a technician at the ASPCA, where he provided veterinary care to low income areas. He travelled to the beautiful island of St. Kitts and Nevis to obtain his doctorate in veterinary medicine from Ross University. Dr. Valenti then completed his clinical education at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. He has special interests in emergency medicine and critical care.
When not providing top quality care to all his beloved patients, Dr. Valenti enjoys hiking, fishing, and watching the New York Rangers win! He is the proud owner of a terrier-mix named Molly and a very spoiled cat named Mildred.
