Julissa has always grown up with a love for animals, spending her time on her best friend's farm as a child. Prior to working at Northpointe, Julissa started out in veterinary shelter medicine where she started having an interest in working in a more clinical setting. Over the years, Julissa has advanced her skills in the veterinary field, being cross trained in every department.

When Julissa is not working, she enjoys spending time with her children, running and being outdoors. She has two dogs, Evie and Asia, along with two cats, Opie-Bob and Sally, that have been rescued from working at Northpointe.
