Dr. Peter Cruz was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George's University in 2024. Before becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Cruz spent a year with VCA as a veterinary technician, gaining valuable hands-on experience that shaped his approach to patient care.
Dr. Cruz enjoys building connections with clients and their pets and finds it rewarding to meet families from all walks of life. His professional interests include dentistry, preventative medicine, and client education.
Outside of work, Dr. Cruz enjoys playing his PlayStation 5, reading, following sports such as the NBA, NFL, Formula 1, and soccer, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with his family. He shares his home with two pets: Mickey, a 14-year-old orange cat, and Milo, a 3-year-old Labrador Retriever mix.
