Dr. Anny Huang grew up in Davis, CA, and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Doctorate degrees from UC Davis. She is a Fear Free Certified Level 3 Veterinary Professional and has completed the Low Stress Handling certification. Dr. Huang joined VCA Pinnacle Animal Hospital in August 2024.
Dr. Huang is interested in many areas of veterinary medicine but is particularly passionate about preventative medicine, behavior, nutrition, and soft tissue surgery. She enjoys being a part of that special bond between people and their pets. Her patients' emotional well-being is as important to her as their physical health, so she tries to implement techniques and discuss options to help them feel less stressed at the veterinary hospital.
Dr. Huang is a pet parent to three cats: Poe, Delilah, and Miu. Poe and Delilah were foster fails after her first year of veterinary school, and she has had them both since they were only a few weeks old. Miu is her little old lady and poster child for arthritis management and cooperative care training. Miu finds vet visits quite stressful, so Dr. Huang and her team have had to do plenty of work to help reduce that stress for Miu.
Dr. Huang loves board game nights with friends and enjoying a good book in her free time. She also got scuba certified in the Summer of 2024 and hopes to keep doing more diving trips.
