Dr. Jonathan Lai is a local, having grown up in San Jose. He graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London. Dr. Lai joined the VCA family in September 2022 and the VCA Pinnacle team in March 2026. He first became interested in veterinary medicine from David Attenborough's animal documentaries on TV.
Dr. Lai enjoys developing relationships with his clients, especially their unique stories about their pets. He has a special interest in orthopedics and hopes to incorporate this surgery into his repertoire.
In his spare time, Dr. Lai enjoys playing tennis and video games. He has one cat.
