Dr. Emma Tyrnauer is a Bay Area native, hailing from Sunnyvale, California. She completed her undergraduate degree at Loyola Marymount University (LMU), majoring in Biology. She was also a student-athlete while at LMU, playing soccer for four years. Dr. Tyrnauer attended UC Davis for her doctorate, graduating in 2023. She joined the VCA Pinnacle Animal Hospital team in July 2023.

Dr. Tyrnauer's interests include preventative care, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. What she enjoys most about her job is helping her patients and their families.

Dr. Tyrnauer has two dogs; a terrier mix named Ellie and a cattle dog mix named Rue. In her free time, she likes spending time with her family and her dogs, playing soccer, and cooking. Dr. Tyrnauer also volunteers at local animal shelters.
