Dr. Jenice Hayes graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in the United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine. She joined VCA in 2006, starting as a kennel assistant/receptionist/veterinary assistant at VCA Winchester before she headed off to vet school in the UK. Upon graduation in 2019, she returned to VCA Winchester as a veterinarian and joined the VCA Pinnacle team in 2023.  

As an associate veterinarian, Dr. Hayes's goal is to help clients improve their relationship with their pets through a proactive and prevention-focused approach to their pet's health care and well-being. She is keen to work with pet parents to provide the best care possible through all life stages and is particularly interested in addressing arthritis, which is hard to detect in many pets.

Dr. Hayes is a local Bay Area girl who enjoys rock climbing, crafting chain maille jewelry, wireworking, and reading. When she is not at work, you may encounter her on the road riding her Harley, bump into her at a Renaissance festival, or frequenting SJC or SFO on the way to her next adventure. She is currently owned by a senior house panther named Trillian and one day wants to expand her menagerie to include many more cats and a dog or two.
